Based in Watertown, Wisconsin, Wolff Wood Designs began as a hobby and soon grew into a family business.  We create all designs, hand gather all the wood, and build all the furnishings ourselves. 

It all began with a shutter.

I saw a great pin for placing shutters on the mantle and knew I wanted to recreate this idea.  I went to the local lumber yard to see if  I could build the rustic, farmhouse style shutter I was envisioning... by build, I mean, tell my husband what to make.  I didn't find what I was looking for - everything looked too new.  I wanted rustic.  We decided to try a local farm to see if they had any old wood laying around that we could use.  Sure enough, they did!  Soon, my idea was born into life and I had rustic, beautiful, shutters sitting on my mantle.  (They are still there!)  This project awoke something in my husband that turned into a passion.  Soon, the garage was converted into a shop and my Pinterest board was getting bigger and bigger!  This hobby turned into a business when friends started to request items that he was building.  Fast forward to today, and we are taking down whole barns and making custom made, high-quality products for our customers!  We would love to add you to our list of highly satisfied owners of a Wolff Wood Design!
